Tata Innovation Fellowship Online Apply 2023, for PhD Holders and Fellows
The Tata Innovation Fellowship 2021 applications have been opened at dbtepromis.gov.in and dbtindia.gov.in. This fellowship is for PhD holders who have made significant contributions to solving major problems in biotechnology, life sciences, and agriculture.
On or before November 30, the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology invited interested and qualified candidates to apply. In addition to the regular salary of the host institution, the selected candidates will be awarded a Rs 25,000 monthly fellowship. Candidates would also receive a Rs 6 lakh contingency grant annually.
The applicant must not be older than 55 years at the time of application closing. Candidates must have a PhD in life sciences, agriculture or veterinary science or a master’s in medical sciences, engineering or an equivalent degree. Outstanding contributions and publications in this area are also required.
A candidate must hold a permanent post in an institute, and be involved in research and development. Anyone who is applying for any other fellowship must choose one of the fellowships.

Eligibility for Tata Innovation Fellowship
The applicant must hold a Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences, Agriculture or Veterinary Science, or a Master’s Degree in Medical Sciences or Engineering, or an equivalent degree, in Biotechnology or related areas. The applicant must have made a significant contribution to the area and published in that area.
The candidate must have a regular permanent position in a University/Institute/ Organization and should be engaged in research and development. He/she must choose one fellowship if he/she is applying for another fellowship.

Before applying for the fellowship, the applicant must have lived in India at least five years.
Indian nationals who reside in India and are under 55 years old as of the closing date for application submission. The fellowship is coterminus with the superannuation for fellow members of his/her organisation.

Tata Innovation Fellowship Amount
