Eligibility to PG Course Admission: Qualification for TSAgricultural PG Courses Admission 2023. Candidates who are interested in applying for any of these Master’s Degree Courses must have passed the 4 year Bachelor’s Examination specified for each course at Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University, or another institution accredited by ICAR.
Only applicants who have appeared in ICAR AIEEA(PG) 2023 (ICAR entry examination 2023) are eligible to be admitted into the PG Course at PJTSAU. Candidates must have a minimum OGPA score of 5.50 / 10.00, SC/ST-5.00/10.00 or 2.50 / 4.00 (SC /ST-2.00 / 4.00), or 50% in the traditional system (SC /ST-40%).
Maximum Age Limit: Admission is restricted to those over 40 years of age as of 1 July 2023.

Qualifications to PG Course Admission
Reservations of candidates: The Appendix contains rules that will allow for the reservation of seats in favor of local / non-local candidates. Reservations for SC/ST/BC candidates: 15%, 6%, and 29% of each course of study in each faculty shall be reserved respectively for candidates from SCs, STs, and BCs.
According to Government norms, 3% of each course is reserved for candidates who are physically disabled. Notice: Candidates from different social groups will be placed in the different major fields of study in these courses, as it is impossible to represent all groups in one major.
Selection Criteria: The selection will be based upon the academic record of the Undergraduate level and performance at the entrance test conducted through AIEEA (PG 2023). The weightage will be 30:70.

Candidates who have taken the entrance exam in a major subject area will not be allowed to swap subjects with anyone else. Only the identified subject groups will be accepted.
The overall merit ranking will determine whether the candidate is eligible to be admitted in a particular sub-subject at PJTSAU. This decision will depend on the candidate’s choice and the availability of seats at that merit rank via an offline counselling process.
Male applicants may also be eligible for admission to M.Sc. (Community Science, formerly Home Science) in Foods & Nutrition. SC/ST candidates have no qualifying marks up to the reserved seat.
5 Marks Weight at Degree Level:Achievements in NCC/NSS/Sports/Games/Cultural / Literary Activities at B.Sc. will be subject to production of certificates. level. :

TIE – In the event of a tie, candidates with higher marks at Undergraduate level will prevail. If there is a tie, the date and birth of all candidates will be considered. The older candidate will prevail.

Agriculture PG Admission Counselling The Admission counselling will take place at the University Auditorium of Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University Rajendranagar in Hyderabad on the date specified.
Original Certificates The selected candidates will need to submit original certificates and pay the required fee to secure admission to the allotted colleges. Failing to do so will result in the forfeiture of any claim for a seat. At the time of allocating a seat, the applicant must bring originals of uploaded certificates to Counselling Centre.
Registration Date The date of registration is announced during the counselling day.

Admit card: eAdmit Card of AIEEA PG 2023 (ICAR – Entrance Marks/Rank) issued to qualified candidates.
Degree MEMO : Memoranda (all years) of marks obtained in the qualifying Under Graduate level exam or transcript.
Degree certificate: Provisional/degree certificate of the qualifying exam.
Study certificates:Study certificate from Heads of Recognized Educational Institutions starting at VI class. If you are appearing for an examination by private study, please attach a residence certificate.
Caste certificates: Social status Certificates issued in the case of candidates from BC/SC / STs. This quota is provisional until the competent authority certifies the authenticity of the claimant’s social status.
Achievements: Certificate recognizing achievements in B.Sc. NCC/NSS / Sports/Games / Cultural/Literary activities at Inter-State/Inter-University levels, if applicable.

Submit Printed App: Submission of Hard Copy of Application: A computer-generated copy of the online form must be downloaded and sent to SpeedPost so that it reaches The Registrar of Administrative Office, Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University Rajendranagar Hyderabad – 500 030 before the deadline.
Late applications will be rejected. Online applications that do not contain the required certificates will be rejected.
Candidates who do not submit a provisional/degree certificate from the qualifying examination will be denied admission to counselling. Not submitting an online application will guarantee a seat.
Admission Fee Annexure II contains details of the admission fees. The entire tuition fee for students selected for counselling must be paid at the time of admission.
Certificates and other fees may be charged at additional charges. Both UG and PG courses will have the same fees. The selected candidates must pay the full fee on the day of counselling.
Fees will be approximately R.23,360/ (Rupees Twenty-three thousand three hundred sixty only) with no hostel fees of around Rs.12.250/- (12 thousand two hundred fifty only).

PG Courses Fee Details
Instructions Financial Assistance: The University does not offer financial aid to post-graduate students. Post-graduate students can receive financial assistance in the form of stipends and long-term loans from the government, or other agencies, provided they meet the terms and conditions.
Students may be offered a course in more than one college. The merit and availability of seats will determine which college they are allocated to. Students must complete the course and any research related to the Master’s program in the college they were admitted. Students are admitted to M.Tech. (Agril. Engg.) Engg.)
The student should not register for any other degree/diploma programme concurrently on regular or part-time basis either in this University or in any other University/Educational Institution.
If a candidate is admitted to the Master’s program at PJTSAU, but fails to complete the requirements or withdraws for not maintaining minimum OGPA, he/she will need to apply again for admission by reappearing for the Entrance exam conducted in the following year by ICAR and applying for admission again. The candidate will be reimbursed for any stipend paid in the past.
Candidates who hold a Master’s degree in one discipline but apply for admission in another discipline will not be accepted.

All admissions are considered provisional and will be subject to further scrutiny. Admissions are subject to cancellation at any time during the student’s study period if they are found to be in violation of rules/regulations, invalid due to incorrect or false information provided by applicants or parents/guardians at admission.
The cancellation of admission does not include criminal action under applicable criminal law. The University reserves the right to modify or cancel any rules at any time without prior notice. All hostel accommodation is subject to availability.
Only applicants who have taken the ICAR AIEEA – PG 2023 / ICAR ICE – JRF/SRF – PhD 2023 entrance examination will be eligible for admission to PJTSAU.
Note that admissions will be done according to the applicable government orders at the time of admission. Only online applications will be accepted. Online applications will not be accepted.

An applicant whose application has been rejected for any reason will be rescinded if he/she is found to have provided incorrect information, deliberately suppressed relevant information, or uploaded inadmissible documents.

Admissions to Doctoral Programs (PhD Programs): Admissions to Ph.D. Faculties in Agriculture, Home Science & Agricultural Engineering and Technology. The M.Sc. must be submitted in order to be eligible for admission to Ph.D. programs. Candidates must submit their M.Sc. thesis by the deadline for receipt of applications. They must also pass the final viva-voce examination of the thesis as soon as possible.
