AISSEE Exam format: (a) For the entrance exam for Class 6 The entrance exam for Class 6 comprises the 125 questions in three different languages namely English, Hindi and Malayalam. Students can answer questions in any of three languages. The maximum mark will be 300 points divided into maths, General Knowledge, Language and Intelligence-based questions.
(b) For the Class 9 entrance exam The Class 9 AISSEE exam paper will contain 50 questions on Maths 25, 25 of them in Intelligence, English, General Science and Social Studies 25 as well as other questions. The exam paper would comprise with 400 marks. However, the exam paper for students in the class 9 will only be available in one medium namely English. Admissions registration is for specific schools only within the specific category. The choice of schools made by the applicants doesn’t guarantee the possibility of being selected for other schools than the first option and in the normal course.
If there is a Sainik School has surplus candidates in their official list of applicants after the admissions process, they could be allocated to other schools based on the number of vacancies at various school (under SC, ST, Home General or Outside Home and Defence or Outside Home Defence or the Outside Home Defence category, if applicable) after all applicants on the waiting list are accepted.
